This lemon pickle can be made with just 9 ingredients 1)Lemons-26 Nos
2)Salt-100 grams 3)Chilli powder-100 grams 4)turmeric-2tbsp 5)oil- 2tbsp
6)fenugreek seeds powder- 2tbsp 7)Fenugreek Seeds-1/2-1 tbsp 8)Red chillis-2
nos & 9)Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
Process to Lemon Pickle at Home
Firstly lemons are rinsed with clean running water and wiped them by using dry
cloth until completely moist free.Than chopped them by verticaly(20nos) and
few with horizontaly(6nos for juice),these are sun dried for one day.These
lemons are brined with lemon juice,common salt and turmeric for five days and
again sun dried for a day only extracted lemons not with brined juice.Add the
dry chopped lemon pieces into the jar or storage container.Than pour the lemon
juice to the same jar or storage container.In the same jar add fenugreek seeds
powder and red chilli powder mix it well.
Tempering
Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it until smoky,if oil turns hot,add 1 tbsp
mustard seeds,1 tbsp fenugreek seeds and 2nos red chillis,cool this completely
and mix in the pickle jar.So your pickle is ready to eat for dinner.
