traditional indian pickles .Each region has a differents recipe for making
pickles in this post have shared my style of recipe.I can share a lot of tips to
keep the lemon pickle good for an year.

Lemons are loaded with vitamin c and are quite effective in curing digestion
problems.They contain digestive juice,which facilite digestion,thus reliving
heartburn,belching and gastric problems.A lemon juice is often recommended in
case of fever and stomach upset.Lemon,when taken with warm water early in the
morning,aids in proper digestion.It alson removes toxins from the kidneys and

year however since lemons available through Traditionally made pickles are
mostly no cooks this recipe deosn't require any cooking expert for tempering.
This lemon pickle can be made with just 9 ingredients 1)Lemons-26 Nos
2)Salt-100 grams 3)Chilli powder-100 grams 4)turmeric-2tbsp 5)oil- 2tbsp
6)fenugreek seeds powder- 2tbsp 7)Fenugreek Seeds-1/2-1 tbsp 8)Red chillis-2
nos & 9)Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
Process to Lemon Pickle at Home
Firstly lemons are rinsed with clean running water and wiped them by using dry
cloth until completely moist free.Than chopped them by verticaly(20nos) and
few with horizontaly(6nos for juice),these are sun dried for one day.These
lemons are brined with lemon juice,common salt and turmeric for five days and
again sun dried for a day only extracted lemons not with brined juice.Add the
dry chopped lemon pieces into the jar or storage container.Than pour the lemon
juice to the same jar or storage container.In the same jar add fenugreek seeds
powder and red chilli powder mix it well.
Tempering
Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it until smoky,if oil turns hot,add 1 tbsp
mustard seeds,1 tbsp fenugreek seeds and 2nos red chillis,cool this completely
and mix in the pickle jar.So your pickle is ready to eat for dinner.
This is my favourite recipe which i likes very very much,because it looks very tasty please try to prepair at home and will promise you never forget this recipe in future also.
